THE SHORT VERSION
Vindica does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Nothing. Vindica does not have a backend server. No accounts. No analytics. No crash reporting sent off-device. Your blocking rules, schedules, and saved places are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure on-device storage.
SCREEN TIME & FAMILY CONTROLS
Vindica uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls and DeviceActivity frameworks) to apply app blocks. This data never leaves your device. Apple's own privacy policies govern the Screen Time framework.
LOCATION
If you create a location-based Conditional Block, Vindica requests location access to detect when you arrive at or leave a saved place. Location data is processed entirely on-device and is never sent to any server. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings.
THIRD PARTIES
Vindica does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. There are no third parties with access to your data.
CHILDREN
Vindica does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected at all, no special handling is required.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes.
